Hello, hope all is well with everyone! I am writing because yesterday, the governor had extended the stay at home order for all non-essential workers until the 29th of April. In turn what this means is that our in-person meetings, events, and camping trip for the month of April are cancelled. Hopefully he will lift the ban for May, and we can begin meeting again to end out the year. With this said, I encourage the scouts to continue to work on rank advancement and merit badges. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Again, if I can be of any help or assistance during these trying times, please reach out.

Happy Friday everyone. I am once again just writing to check in with everyone! I hope everyone continues to be well and safe during this epidemic. I know for me its really starting to really hit home. I friend of mine who I was very active with in the Order of the Arrow died last night. He was only 38 years old. I really hope and pray that this virus goes away real soon. Whit that said on to happier news, SUMMER CAMP is still scheduled to take place this summer. Thanks to those who have already reached out to me and let me know their plans. Once again the troop will be camping at Aquehonga from August 2nd until the 15th. There is still plenty of time to sign-up. The Early Bird Fee (which is a $30 savings per scout per week) is May 1st. Camperships are available to those who need it. For those older scouts, Aquehonga offers Eagle Camp from August 9 to 15. All Eagle required merit badges are offered. Please send me an email if you are planning on attending camp for one or two weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to me. I am once again writing to remind everyone that Summer Camp is still scheduled to take place this summer. Summer Camp is the highlight of the scouting year. We are one of the few Troops in the city that goes for two weeks. This sets us apart from other Troops and lets us as a Troop do more advanced trips like Sea Base and Northern Tier. The troop will be camping at Aquehonga from August 2nd until the 15th. Camperships are available to those who need it. Hello everyone just writing to check in with everyone! I hope everyone is doing well during these trying times. As you know, all troop meetings, activities, events, and camping trips are suspended until further notice. With that said, Summer Camp is still scheduled to take place. The troop will be camping at Aquehonga from August 2nd until the 15th. A $45 deposit per person per week is due to the council by March 31st! Please send me an email if you are planning on attending camp and a check for either $45 for one week or $90 for two weeks. If you have any questions or concerns with the money, please speak to me. Hello, I hope everyone is well and staying safe and clam during this epidemic. I am writing to inform you that as of today, March 17th all troop meeting, events, activities, and camp outs are cancelled until further notice. These are very trying times and uncharted waters that we are going through. If anybody needs anything, or has any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am here for you! Good Afternoon Everyone! As expected I received a call from Blue Mountain and they are closing the lodge for the next several weeks do to the fact that the caretakers daughter goes to a school in which someone had the Corona Virus. We will look to reschedule the trip in the near future. With that said there is no meeting tonight and I will keep everyone informed about the meeting going forward. As of right now the trip to Blue Mountain this weekend is still on. The health and safety of all our scouts and adults is our #1 priority. If anybody is sick or is not felling well, please use your judgment as to whether to go or not go on the trip. Please make sure to bring your scout handbook and mess kit. The weather is supposed to be in the 50 during the day and the high 30’s low 40’s at night, so please bring the appropriate clothes. We are meeting at the church at 6:00 pm on Friday! Our annual camping trip to Blue Mountain will take place on the weekend of March 13th to the 15th.  Signed up will begin this Friday.  First come, first served.  Cost will be $30. Payment is due by March 6th !  Please see Anthony to sign-up and pay!
