Thanks to everyone who bought and sold wreaths this weekend, especially to those who where out today in the crummy weather! A hugh shout out to Gerri Mohr for all her hard work and coordination with the sale. With this said, we still have 79 wreaths left to sell. There are still scouts who need to sell their three wreaths. Please ask any family, friends, or neighbors if they would like to buy a wreath. If we don’t sell all the wreaths by Friday, we will be selling them again next weekend at Artist Drugs and Our Lady of Hope Church! If you need wreaths please call or reach out to me. All of the wreaths are at my house!
Thanks again for all of your hard work this weekend! Lets go out this week and sell the remaining 79 wreaths!

Just a reminder that we are meeting at 6:00 pm on Friday at Trinity! Please remember to be in Full Class A Uniform. The weather is expected to be on the chilly side so please remember to dress appropriately.

We are Meeting at Trinity at 6:00 PM on Friday November 8th. We will be stopping to eat on the way there so bring money.
The pool at the Hotel is scheduled to be open, so bring your swim suits!
Dress appropriately for the weather (check online for the forecast). Even though we will be sleeping in a hotel, we will be spending a lot of time outdoors!
We will be wearing our Full Class-A uniform to travel with on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday!
There will be a lot of walking, wear comfortable proper foot wear.
NO BACK PACKS! A duffel bag for your clothes will be sufficient.
There will be 4 people sleeping in each room. You may wish to bring a light weight sleeping bag.
Cameras are welcome! Lots of places to take pictures! Gettysburg is steeped in history!
Spending money, bring some if you’d like to.

Today, Sunday, October 27th there will be a memorial service for Pastor Longan at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Longan served as Troop 106’s Executive Officer for over 20 years. The troop was requested to be there. We will be assisting with giving out the programs and help serve the refreshments. The service will run from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. All scouts are encouraged to attend and to be in Full Class A uniform. For details or information please contact Scoutmaster Anthony Zalak!
Trinity Lutheran Church has asked us to help them to clean the church to get it ready for the memorial service on Sunday. The cleaning will take place on Saturday October 26th from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. If available, you can sign-up at Tomorrows meeting!

There will be an important Sea Base Meeting for all Scouts and their Parents who are attending the Florida Sea Base Trip in February 2020 on Tuesday October 29th. The meeting will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Academy Cafeteria located at 61-27 71st Street, in Middle Village, NY 11379. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm. Please let me know if you are attending the meeting. Hope to see you all on the 29th!
