Just a reminder that the first meeting of the scouting year is taking place tonight at 7:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. Uniforms are required.

Good Evening Everyone. I can’t believe that the summer is over. I hope everyone had a great summer and was able to get away and spend some time with family and friends.

At this meeting, we will elect our Senior Patrol Leader who will lead the troop this year. We will also form patrols.

I would like to welcome the 5 new Cub Scouts who crossed over in June: Raymond, Anthony, Nico, Caleb, and Akul. Welcome to Troop 106.

Lastly, Our first event of the year will be this Sunday, September 11th. We will be participating in the 9/11 Vigil in Juniper Park like we have done for the past 21 years. We will meet at 6:15 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church!

Good Evening, I hope everyone is everyone is enjoying their summer. I am having a great time so far up in TMR. Kyle’s Eagle Scout Project will be taking place tomorrow Thursday July 14th and Friday July 15th at 5:30 pm and on Saturday July 16th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Church. I hope everyone can make it out to help Kyle complete his project and achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Unfortunately, I am up at camp and will not be able to make it.

Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying this nice weather that we are having. This Friday, June 17th will be our last meeting for the scouting year. It will be our Year-End BBQ at 7:30 pm. As always, families are invited. The troop will be supplying the hotdogs and hamburgers. Each family is requested to bring a side dish, desert, or drinks.

Just a reminder that there is no meeting tomorrow night.. The troop will be camping at Pouch on Staten Island, instead of Quail Hill do to some scheduling issues. Our next regular meeting is on Friday June 10th.

For those going on the Camping Trip to Pouch tomorrow, we are meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Please make sure you pack your, mess kit and scout handbook along with the usually camping supplies. We will be sleeping in tents.

Good Evening Everyone, Hope all is well and everyone is having a good week and are looking forward to the three day weekend.

A reminder that we don not have a meeting this Friday May 27th.

If you are available this weekend, we have Nick Alleva’s Eagle Scout Project on Saturday May 28th from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm and on Sunday May 29th from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm at St. Pancras Church in Glendale.

Lastly, as we approach Memorial Day this Monday, let’s us remember all those who died in service to our country. Let us also remember the children and teachers who were killed this passed week in Texas.

Just a reminder that we have a regular meeting tomorrow, May 20th. We will be meeting downstairs, due to Pack 106’s Blue and Gold in the gym. This month’s theme is Cooking. Tomorrow we will focus on the Cooking Merit Badge.

We will have sign-ups Nick Alleva’s Eagle Scout Project on May 28th and 29th at St. Pancras Church and for the June 3rd-5th Camping Trip to Quail Hill in New Jersey.

Lastly, tomoorw is Pack 106’s Blue and Gold Ceremony. We will be welcoming five new scouts into the troop.
