Good evening, everyone. I hope everyone is having a great week. I am writing to remind you about the Christmas/Holiday Party tonight Friday, December 17th.

The party will take place at 7:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran church. It is open to all scout families and siblings. Uniforms are not required. The troop will be supplying the hot food. We ask that families contribute snacks, deserts, or drinks.

We will be having an Ugly Sweater Contest. So please get those ugly sweaters ready.

There will also be a grab bag. There will be one for the scouts and one for the adults. If you want to contribute, please purchase a $20 gift.

There will be a special visitor from the North Pole to give gifts to all the good scouts. If you would like, please bring a gift for any sibling so that the visitor can present them with something.

Also, we will have sign-ups for our trip to Blue Mountain the weekend of January 14th-17th.

Good evening, everybody I hope everyone is doing well. There is a regular meeting tomorrow night, Friday December 10th, 2021. We will be focusing on knots and lashings. There will also be a committee meeting and boards of review for anyone who needs them. We will also be doing service for the church, on Friday Night and if needed, continuing it on Saturday Morning. Finally, on Friday December 17th, we will be having our Annual Christmas Party. As in the past, families are invited.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made our wreath sale such a huge success. This weekend we assembled and sold 40 dozen wreaths. Thanks to all the scouts, adult leaders, and parents who helped with putting the wreaths together and those who helped sell the wreaths.

A very special Thank You to our Wreath Queen Gerri Mohr for all her planning and running around this weekend to make sure the sale went smoothly. Also, Thank You to Kathy Balsamo in all of her work with the ordering of the wreaths and the wreath supplies. This sale would not have happened with these two ladies.

Good evening, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends. I am writing to remind you that tomorrow, Friday November 26th is our Wreath Assembly Night! We will meet at 6:00 pm to assembly the Wreaths. No Uniforms.

Just a reminder that we will be selling wreaths on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Each scout is required to sell three wreaths and to sign-up for at least one selling shift. This year we will be selling wreaths at four locations, so we will need several scouts to sign-up for an additional selling shift. We also need adults to help out as well.

Remember this is our only fundraiser of the year! See everyone tomorrow night.

I want to take this opportunity to wish all the scouts, scouters, and parents a very Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for each and every one of you for all you do for me and for the scouts of Troop 106. Enjoy this day spent with family and friends.

Cheesecakes will be available for pick-up at Trinity Lutheran Church between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM tomorrow (Tuesday, November 23rd).  All orders must be picked up that night as we do not have the ability to store them overnight.

Good Evening everyone, I hope all is well and everyone is having a great week so far.

As you know this weekend, we are going camping to Glen Gray. The camp is located at 200 Midvale Mountain Road in Mahwah, NJ.

We will be staying in the Benedict Cabin and adjacent tent site. We will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm on Friday. The cost of $25 for the weekend will be collected at this time.

Scouts and Adults are reminded to bring their mess kits utensils, water bottle, scout handbook, and rain gear.

Please make sure you bring your sleeping bag and mat. You should pack enough clothes for two days and make sure you pack warm clothes as it is supposed to be on the chilly side this weekend.

Please make sure you eat before we leave on Friday, as we are not planning on stopping on the way up to camp.

As of this moment, we are ok with transportation. Please reach out to me if you are able to provide transportation if the need arises.
