The troop will be working on the Family Life – Merit Badge, which is also an Eagle required merit badge. Start tracking your chores (90 days of tracking is a requirement) and begin planning ideas for a Family Project.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! NYC Parks Beach Grass Planting, Excellent Service Project for Our Scouts! Please join NYC Parks in planting beach grass to help to trap windblown sand. Beach grasses fibrous root system strengthens by keeping sand in place. Volunteers will plant beach grass in marked off areas on Coney Island. Please come dress in warm, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes. Tools and gloves will be provided. Date: March 10, 2018 Locations:  Boardwalk and W.5th Street                   Boardwalk and W.27th Street Time: 10:00 am to 1:00pm This event is rain or shine. Pre-registration required. Today,  Trinity Lutheran Church is having their annual Fat Tuesday – Start of Lent Celebration.  The Troop volunteers to help prepare and serve food.  We are asking any youth members who wish to volunteer to be at the church in Class A uniforms at 5:30 PM to help.
