Good Evening Everybody! Hope all is well and that everyone is having a great week.
First, I want to thank everyone for a very successful wreath sale last weekend. We sold 38 dozen wreaths, the most we have ever sold. Thanks especially to the hard work of our fundraising team: Gerri Mohr, Kathy Balsamo, and Matt Breen.
We have a regular meeting tomorrow night at 7:30 pm at Trinity!

I want to take this time to wish everyone a Healthy and Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for each and everyone of you who make Troop 106 the best around. Thanks for all that you do! Have a great day celebrating with family and friends! Be Safe!

Tis the season for wreath selling!! The Troop 106 Annual wreath sale will be held this weekend, Saturday, November 28th and Sunday, November 29th. As in the past, each scout is REQUIRED to purchase 3 wreaths (5 wreaths for a family with more than one scout) & do one selling shift. We will be in 3 locations – Artis Drugs, Resurrection Ascension & Our Lady of Hope. The price of the wreaths are $18 per wreath. We need both scouts to sell and adult volunteers to supervise. Please see the open shifts below.
Wreath prep will be held on Friday, November 28th at Trinity starting at 6PM. It is recommended that Scouts do not come in uniform that evening. We will also need some help unloading the truck earlier that afternoon. Please let Anthony know if you are available to assist.
Please keep in mind that this is our ONLY troop fundraiser annually. It helps keep us solvent while keeping the cost of the program down. We really need all the help we can get, from ALL of our Troop 106 family.

Pies/cakes will be available for pick-up at Trinity between 6 PM and 7 PM tomorrow (Tuesday, November 24th). All orders must be picked up that night as we do not have the ability to store them overnight.

Good Evening everybody, hope all is well and safe with everybody. I am writing because as you may or may not know, the mayor announced today that all NYC Public Schools will close as of tomorrow for an undefined period of time. As of right now this does not effect the Troop Meetings or activities. We will continue to have in-person meetings. The wreath sale, will take place as scheduled on the weekend of November 28th and 29th.
On another note, I want to thank all those scouts and adults will came and volunteered last weekend with the Our Lady of Hope St. Vincent DePaul Society Thanksgiving Drive.

Good Afternoon, Hope all is well with everyone! Just a reminder that we will be meeting tomorrow, November 13th at 7:30 at Trinity.
Also, please start selling Christmas wreaths. Each scout is expected to sell three wreaths. Families who have more than one scout in the troop will be expected to sell five wreaths. Wreaths are still only $18 a piece. We will be putting the wreaths together on Friday November 27th and selling them on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th. We will be selling them this year at Artist Drugs, Resurrection Accession Church, and Our Lady of Hope Church. Please be on the lookout for the sign-up sheets. Each scout is expected to sign-up for at least one selling shift.
Next, We still have some scouts who have not signed up for this weekends service at Our Lady of Hope. Scouts are expected to sign up for one slot and be in Full Class-A Uniform.
Lastly, Thanks to Assistant Scoutmaster John Mohr for running Heritage night last Friday. John has now completed his ticket items for Wood Badge. Wood Badge is intense Adult Leader Training. Congrats John.

Pie orders are also due tomorrow night! Also, If if have not signed up for next weeks service at Our Lady of Hope, please do so. Each scout is expected to sign-up for one of the time slots. Hello, hope all is well with everybody. Just a reminder that tomorrow night October 30th, will be our annual Halloween Party. Please wear costumes or something orange or black. We will be playing some Halloween games as well as serving candy, pizza, soda, and snacks. No uniforms are required!
Also, On the Weekend of November 14th and 15th, we will be having a service opportunity at Our Lady of Hope Church. We will be helping to collect money at the end of each mass for their Annual Thanksgiving Drive. All scouts are expected to sign-up for one or more slots. The time slots are 5:30 on November 14th, and 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, and 7:00 on November 15th.
