Troop 106- Weekly Update #1

Good morning, I hope everyone is well and had a great holiday season. I am writing to inform everyone about some upcoming events as we enter the new year.

This coming Saturday will be an Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony for Kevin, Harry, and Sashi. These scouts made eagle before covid and have been patiently waiting for their ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 pm on Saturday. Any scout or adult who would like to attend, please let me know by Wednesday January 4th.

Next, we had to reschedule our trip to Blue Mountain. The trip will now take place on January 20th to the 22nd. Sign-up has started and will continue at our next meeting.

Finally, our next committee meeting will take place on Friday January 13th at 7:30 pm.

Troop 106- Christmas/Holiday Party

Good evening everyone, I hope everyone is staying dry.. I am writing to remind you about the Christmas/Holiday Party tomorrow, Friday, December 16th.

The party will take place at 7:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran church. It is open to all scout families and siblings. Uniforms are not required. The troop will be supplying the hot food. We ask that families contribute snacks, deserts, or drinks.

We will be having an Ugly Sweater Contest. So please get those ugly sweaters ready.

There will also be a grab bag. There will be one for the scouts and one for the adults. If you want to contribute, please purchase a $20 to $25 gift.

There will be a special visitor from the North Pole to give gifts to all the good scouts. If you would like, please bring a gift for any sibling so that the visitor can present them with something.

Also, we will have sign-ups for our trip to Blue Mountain the weekend of January 13th-16th.

Troop 106- Weekly Updates

Good evening everybody, I hope all is well and that you are having a great week. Tomorrow night will not be a regular meeting. We will be working on Anthony Zambrano’s Eagle Scout Project. No uniforms please. Come in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or paint on. We will meet at 5:00 pm, but you can come at anytime after that.

Next, We have been asked if anyone is available to participate in a color guard for Troop 588Q Eagle Scout Ceremony on Saturday December 10th @ 6:00 pm. Please let me know tomorrow night.

Lastly, we have also been asked by Queens Council to see if anyone is interested in participating in a color guard for the Queens Luncheon taking place on Wednesday December 21st, at 11:30 am. Scouts would receive a letter that would excuse them from school for the day.

TROOP 106- Weekly Updates

Good evening, I hope all is well and that everyone is having a great week. We are having a regular meeting, Tomorrow December 2nd @ 7:30 pm. We will continue to work on the citizenship merit badges. There will also be a committee meeting tomorrow night as well.

This Sunday, along with Trinity Lutheran Church, we are sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast in honor of long time Charter Organizational Rep- Rein Olvet. The event runs from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. We are asking as many scouts as possible to attend. Scouts are requested to be there at 8:30 am.

Lastly, If you have not paid your $60 for the three required wreaths, please bring down your money tomorrow night.

Troop 106- Weekly Updates

Good Evening, I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving celebrating with family and friends.

A reminder that tomorrow, night Friday November 25th is Wreath Night. We will be putting together 40 dozen wreaths to be sold this weekend. Please come down at 7:00 pm. No uniforms please.

Remember, that each scout is required to sell three wreaths and sign-up for one selling shift. There are a hand full of scouts who still have not signed up for a shift and will need to do so tomorrow night.

We are requesting that you pay for and pick-up your three wreaths tomorrow night.
