Good evening, everybody! Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. I am writing because this Friday, October 28th is our Annual Halloween Party at the Church. Scouts don’t have to come in uniform. The food/activities for the party are as follows:The Troop will be supplying Pizza and Drinks. Scouts can bring chips, cake/cupcakes, and or candy. We will have a costume contest, piñata and various other games and activities. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

Good evening, I hope everyone is having a good week so far. Just a reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow night. The church has asked us to do some service for them. We will be cleaning the church and setting up tables and chairs in the gym for an event on Saturday. No uniforms are required for the meeting since we will be doing cleaning and setting up the gym.

Sign-up will continue for the Boston Trip on November 11th to the 13th. Also, remember that our annual Pie Sale is going on and the forms are due back by November 4th.

Pie season is upon us once again.  The form is attached and will be available at the meetings.  The last day to submit orders will be Friday, November 4th.  This fundraiser allows scouts to earn money in their Scout account which can be used towards trips or summer camp.  The scout will be credited $5 per item sold.  As it was last year, only cheesecakes are available.  The choices are plain, Oreo, strawberry slam, amaretto and marble swirl.  The price has increased $2, bringing it to $20 per cheesecake.  Payment can be made via check (made out to Troop 106) or cash (exact change please).  They will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, November 22nd at Trinity.

Good Evening, I hope all is well and everyone is having a wonderful week. There is a regular meeting tomorrow, Friday October 14th. Everyone is reminded to bring down their handbook. Sign-up for the Boston Trip on November 11th to the 13th will take place as well. Boards of review will be taken place. If anyone needs one, please let me know.

Good Evening I hope everyone is having a great start to the week and staying dry! As you know, our first camping trip is coming up this weekend October 7th to the 10th. We are going to the Ten Miler River Scout Camps located in Narrowsburg, NY

We are meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church at 6:00 pm on Friday October 7th. Scouts and Adults are reminded to bring their mess kits (Please let me know if you need a mess kit), utensils, water bottle, scout handbook, fishing gear (If you want to fish), rain gear, money for Burger King on Friday night and if you want to purchase anything in the TMR Museum on Saturday.

Scouts and Adults will be staying in the Heart Cabins or tents. (This is a change because of the muddy road condition up to the lento site) Please make sure you bring your sleeping bag and mat. You should pack enough clothes for three days and make sure you pack warm clothes as it gets cold at night in the Catskills.

Good Evening Everybody.

The troop is scheduled to go to Sea Base the week of February 19th to the 25th. We will be goin on the Fishing Adventure. There has been some interest in getting a second crew. The only crew available right now during that time period is the Coral Reef Sailing Adventure. We need at least six people who are interested in order to book it. Two of the six must be adults 21 years of age or older. I need to know by this Friday, October 7th, if anyone is interested in going. We need to book the flight asap. In order to participate, a scout must be at least 12 years of age by February 19th.

Good Evening Everybody. I hope all is well and everyone is having a great week.

A reminder that tomorrow is Parent’s Night. Parents are requested to join us to hear about plans for the upcoming year. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. Scouts will be recognized for their Summer Camp advancement and we will also be recognizing all new scouts who have joined the troop this year. Scouts are requested to be in Full Class-A Uniform.

Sign-up for our first camping trip of the year will continues. The trip will be taking place from October 7th to the 10th. (Columbus Day Weekend) We will be going to Ten Mile River Scouts Camps and staying in lentos and tents. I encourage everyone to sign-up and attend this trip as we plan on doing lots of advancement. Cost is to be determined.

Lastly, there will be a Patrol leaders Meeting after the Parent’s Night to plan the meetings and camping trips for next month.
