We have several volunteer projects set up to highlight the History of Flushing at the Bowne House, Weeping Beech Park and Daniel Carter Beard Mall.

Saturday, March 23rd, 9:30am- 1:00pm WINTER Daffodils and Snow Drops Clean up, mulching and planting

Saturday, April 20th 9:30am- 1:00pm Arbor Earth Day Spring Clean up, mulching and planting

Saturday, May 18th 9:30am- 1:00pm Sacred Sites Weekend Clean up, mulching and planting

Saturday, June 1st 9:00am- 4:00pm This Place Matters: Flushing’s Annual Spring History and Community Festival: Beautify Historic Flushing presents Flushing’s Annual Spring Community Festival, celebrating the history of Flushing through eat, heal, make, and play areas. Demonstrations and educational programming will engage our community with hands-on activities. Children and adults are welcome to come learn and experience Flushing’s unique heritage at this full-day, outdoor festival.

Saturday, Path Through History: June 15th, 9:30am- 1:00pm SUMMER Clean up, mulching and planting

We are able to highlight the history of the important horticulture while the youth volunteer. please email if this might be of interest to your Scouts.

Vaughn STEM Scouts Open House – Wednesday, March 13th, 2019

Scouters,
Vaughn College will be hosting an open house for their STEM Scouts Unit on Wednesday March 13th at 6PM and we are inviting High School Aged Youth to attend. If you are interested in attending please RSVP with Torey McCleskey at [email protected]. Anyone that signs up and takes part in the full program will receive 1 college credit from Vaughn College. Please see the attached flyer for more detail.

Blue Mountain

Our annual camping trip to Blue Mountain will take place on the weekend of January 18th to the 21st.  There is still room if you have not signed up.  First come, first served.  Cost will be $50. Payment is due this Friday!  Please see Anthony Zalak to sign-up and pay! 

Ski Trip

Reminder: Ski trip this Saturday January 5th @ Belleayre.  We are meeting at Trinity @ 6:00 a.m. For those who have not paid, payment is past due! Please bring your payment to Friday nights meeting. Cost is $43 for adults, $33 for Scouts and $39 for rentals. 


Also we are in need for drivers for Saturday! Please call or email Anthony  if you are able to provide transportation on Saturday!
