Due to underwhelming interest, this Friday’s trip to Great Adventure is being postponed. Mike will discuss a possible “Frightfest” trip there in the fall.
See you all on Friday 9/6 at the first regular Troop meeting at Trinity! The first Committee Meeting and Board of Review will be Friday 9/13.
Any donations of school supplies or monies collected are due tomorrow Sunday 8/4. We will be meeting at Trinity between 8:45 – 9 am to leave for summer camp. If you cannot stop by at that time, please contact Mike to make other arrangements.
The premiere Big Apple Jamboree event is October 11-14 at William H. Pouch Scout Camp and promises to be a full weekend of High Adventure activities:

Due to the tight time frame, Captain Tony in Sheepshead Bay has asked that we make our reservation for next weekend as a group. If you purchased a ticket for this trip. please send Eric your voucher numbers ASAP along with the names and ages of who is going so we can let them know.

We were able to get wristbands for $20, all we need to do is have a minimum of 20 riders and pay for them in advance. We need to have the money by Tuesday nite at Eric’s house:
62-23 80th Street, Middle Village (green light bulb)
You can still come after that but you will have to pay the full $30 price for admission. We need a few more to lock in this rate so please do not wait!
The summer schedule begins tomorrow with a softball game from 6-8:30. We will meet at Trinity and then find a field.
IMPORTANT! UPCOMING RYE PLAYLAND TRIP 6/14
We will have the opportunity to get a group rate of $20 per rider for Rye Playland if we have enough people to purchase the group minimum amount of 20 wristbands. Otherwise admission is $30 per person. The tickets must be purchased a week in advance so we are asking that you bring your $20 to tomorrow’s softball game. If you are a parent planning on attending, the group spectator (non-rider) rate is only $3 (as opposed to $10).
If you were not coming tomorrow, but would still like to attend the Rye trip, please make arrangements to drop off your money with either Mike or Eric asap.
Eric’s address is: 62-23 80th Street (green lightbulb).
The Campership form for TMR is due on Friday with a $25 deposit for each week you are planning to attend. Checks should be made payable to GNYC BSA.
Committee Meeting/Bd of Review on Friday at 7:30.
