Troop 106 is participating in the Veteran’s Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

This Friday will be our annual Halloween Party. Mike will not be present, Anthony will be in charge. Anyone dropping money for the camping trip see John.

We will be having the best Halloween costume contest EVER. With some amazing prizes for the scouts to win. Followed by some fun games.

No Uniforms, just fun.

I need someone with a large SUV, Minivian or Pickup than can help me transport at 3′ x 5′ frame from Rego Park to Manhattan.

This is a shadow box which will be delivered to the mom of an Eagle Scout that passed away.

Unfortunately due to its size, it does not fit in my vehicle.

We are flexible with when it can be transported, this coming week would be great.

Troop 106 has 6 seats left available for the Jack Kohler Luncheon, where Rein will be honored.

Not only will you be there to recognize Rein, but part of the proceeds go to a great charity which gives out camperships to Queens scouts to attend summer camp. At least one of our scouts has received a campership from them every year.

Please let Mike know by Monday at 5p If you can attend. So I can pass the info along and reserve your spot.

2. Dinner will NOT be served Friday night when we get to camp. So bring food or stop on the way to camp
3. Scouts & adults, should bring water shoes or a change of footwear for going on the river. YOU WILL get wet & dirty. Be prepared.
4. It may be cold in the AM’s so its suggested that you pack weather appropriate clothing.
5. ALL Scouts must bring their scout book, pen & extra paper (REQUIRED, not optional)

There are 4 things we need your help with:

1. This Wednesday at 630p, we will be meeting at the church to help them decorate for their Oktoberfest. Scouts need not be in uniform. This will apply as community service if you need hours. Anthony will be the point person on this event.
2. Trinity has welcomed us with open arms to their Oktoberfest this coming weekend. If you are not on the camping trip it would be a great Saturday lunch and its for a great cause.
3. Trinity will be having its First Family Halloween Party.
4. And another great new event

If you are going on the camping trip, you MUST bring one of these filled out with you on Friday.
