Last Call for Summer Camp & Update
TONIGHT is the DEADLINE to pay for Summer Camp
Cost is $395/week (if you are inviting anyone from outside the troop it is $405 + $15)
Checks must be made out to “GNYC”
I will need completed medicals and merit badge schedules by SUNDAY.

I would like to thank Brenadette for stepping up to be the lead for Archery tonight.
Please be to the church at 5P. We will leave promptly at 515.
We still may likely need other parents to provide transport.
We still need other volunteers for the upcoming summer events.

A parent chaperone is still need for tonight’s Archery event. This would entail making sure all of the youth arrive and leave the event as a group and being the liaison with the proprietor. (All other parents are potentially needed as drivers as per usual).
If we do not get a volunteer before 1 pm, the event will be cancelled.
In order for the summer program to continue., Mike is asking that at least one parent volunteers to head each Friday event . The upcoming events are:
July 10 — Minigolf
July 24 — Movie Night
Aug 28 — Coney Island
Please contact Mike at [email protected] if you are willing and able to assist. We really need and appreciate continued parental involvement to help make Troop 106 a success!

ArrowTour Event this Sunday at Alpine 6/28
You can still register for this Sunday’s Arrow Tour Event at http://kintecoying.org/index.php/news/oa100/165-arrowtour.
The event is FREE! and from 12:30 – 5:30 at Alpine Scout camp in New Jersey.
The Trading Post and Concession Stands will be open to purchase memorabilia and refreshments.
Archery Tomorrow & Chaperone Needed
$25 for equipment rental, lesson and an hour of archery (It is a bit cheaper if you have your own bow)

46th Annual Sunnyside Kiwanis Day/Flag Day Parade
Date: On Saturday, June 13th, 2015
Time: Report time is at 10:00am
Muster time is at 10:30am
Parade kicks off at 11:00am
Meeting Place: Corner of Greenpoint Avenue at 41st Street
Purpose: Raise awareness about the Wounded Warrior Project for the Canine Companions for Independence and hand out information about how they can become puppy raisers.
We will march with the American flag, Canine Companions for Independence Banner and the Troop 106 flag.
