The camping trip is at Camp Alpine, which is about 45 min – 1 hour from Trinity.
On Friday we are meeting promptly at 6p. For those of you that are always late, we are meeting promptly at 545p.
We need drivers to help provide transport to camp on Friday and back on Sunday. We need 2-3 volunteers for each.

All scouts are reminded that they are required to bring their Scout Handbooks to ALL meetings and on ALL camping trips.
This coming Friday will be the last day to pre-order a new Troop 106 Hoodie (designed by: Harry). Our order will be submitted on Sat morn & hopefully we will have for the meeting on the 30th. We will NOT be able to order additional ones after Friday.

TLC: There will be a TLC Meeting immediately following this Friday’s (1/23) regular meeting.
Wintoree: The Pathfinder Camping Wintoree will be at Alpine from February 6-8. It will be a cabin trip with many fun activities. Cost for the trip is $30. Space is limited—first come first serve—sign up begins this week.
The troop would like to use one on the camping trip this weekend. If you could lend us one (& a screen would be great too, but we can make a makeshift one), it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone interested in doing a little community service, please note the 2 opportunities below…
1. On Monday, January 19th, the Natural Areas Volunteers Division of NYC Parks is having an upcoming event in Queens at Idlewild Park. It’s a wetland cleanup from 10:00am-1:00pm as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Contact our new Service Chairperson, Maureen, if you are interested at [email protected].
2. Bulletin Stuffing at Resurrection Ascension on Thursday, January 22 from 3:30 to 4:30ish. Again, please contact Maureen if interested, at [email protected].
With almost 30 kids going to Blue Mountain, we are still in of drivers!!!
