Emergency Preparedness Event
Sorry for the short notice, I just found out about this:
Emergency Preparedness event tonight, Thursday, April 19, 2012 7-9pm @ St. Margaret’s Church gym (66-05 79th Pl, Middle Village, NY)
Event will include representatives from FDNY, Con Edison, and ABC meteorologist Bill Evans, and can fulfill requirements of Emergency Preparedness merit badge.
Even though it might be short notice, the event may be helpful for scouts as well as leaders.
Please distribute as you see fit.

Gordon Bennett Memorial Service
There will be a memorial service for Gordon Bennett at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Here is the info:
Date: Wednesday April 18th
Time: 7p
Location: Trinity Lutheran Church

Attire: All scouts please be in Class A uniform. For others business casual is ok.
Donations: We are going to purchase a tile in the Ten Mile River Museum’s Wall of Fame in Gordon’s memory. All donations should be made out to “Troop 106” and can either be given at the memorial or sent in the mail to Henry Zalak (Please email me for his address)

Scout Sunday Date change
Scout Sunday has been moved to Sunday the 18th @ 9A, at Trinity
Scouts are required to be in full uniform.
We will attend services with the parishioners, and then serve them refreshments.

He would really love for people to go up and see him.
Parents Night (March 9, 2012)
On March 9th, we will be having our Second Parents Night of the Year.
Location: Trinity Lutheran Church
Time: Scouts are to arrive at 7P
Parents are to arrive at 8P
There will be a lot of information shared about summer camp, camperships and much more.
We will also have a court of honor to recognize all the scouts ranks and have some skits put on by the scouts

Eagle Court of Honor
On Sunday April 22nd, we will be having an Eagle Court of Honor to recognize
Mark & Matt Valli for their achievement of earning the rank of Eagles.
Where: Trinity Lutheran Church
Time: 1PM (Set-Up), 5PM (Guests arrive)
Need: We need scouts there with uniform (not in uniform, as we will be setting up) starting at 1p

Friday 2/24/12 Meeting Change
This Friday we will not be having a normal meeting.
Rather we will meet at Trinity at 7p and be going to the movies.
The scouts will decide when we get to the church what we will be seeing.
Cost: $12-$16 (depending on if they want to see a 3D movie)
No uniforms.
