Troop 106- Weekly Updates- March 31st

Good evening, I hope everyone is doing well and survived the cold weather in the beginning of the week.

Sorry for the last-minute notice, but I just found out that Trinity Lutheran Church is not available for our meeting tomorrow night. So, we will be meeting outside the church at 7:30. We will than walk over to the park to have our meeting. No uniforms are required. Scouts should arrive by 7:30. I did not want to cancel the meeting because we have several events/activities coming up and since our next regular scheduled meeting is not until April 29th due to the holidays and camping trip.

A reminder that our next camping trip is coming up on the weekend of April 8th to the 10th at Camp Alpine. This is the Pathfinder District Camporee. The cost is $25 for all Food and Program fees. Final sign-up will take place this Friday, April 1st. Hope you all can make it. This will be a weekend of games, competitions and advancement. We will be sleeping in tents.

This Friday, April 1st is also the deadline for the early bird payment for Summer Camp. Scouts who are paid in full by this Friday, will save $65 off per week of camp. Please bring your payments tomorrow night if you want to take advantage of the Earlybird discount which is a savings of $65 per week of camp. If you are sending a check, please make it out to Troop 106. Questions, please let me know.

Finally, this Saturday (April 2nd) is Jason Rom’s Eagle Scout Project. Please come out and support Jason, as he works to achieve scouting highest rank- Eagle Scout. Sign-up will take place tomorrow night. Please see the previous email with details about his project.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Last Chance to Register for 2022-2023

Hello Everyone,

In the next week, we will be submitting our Charter and registering everyone for 2022-2023. If you are interested in keeping your registration with Troop 106, please bring a check for $45.00 (Adults) and $100 (Youth) to Friday night’s meeting or drop it off at Henry’s house. If you owe us paperwork, either the Criminal Background Check (CBC) or Youth Protection Training (YPT) please also provide those documents.

If we do not receive the above, we will assume you are no longer interested in being a member of Troop 106 and you will be removed from the charter.

If you wish to remain a member but for some reason are unable to provide the documents or payment, please speak to me or Anthony.

Edit: There seems to be confusion about the above paperwork mentioned in the post above. The required paperwork is for adults who wish to be members of the Troop and not for youth members. Sorry for the confusion.
