2 Drivers Needed for this weekend
We need 2 additional drivers, for each direction, for this weekend’s camping trip.
We are leaving from the church at 6p on Friday
And are executing to leave camp by 10A on Sunday morning

Mother’s Day Food Drive
We are collecting canned goods, rice and toiletries for Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr’s Mother’s Day Food Drive. What’s great about this drive is that most collections occur in the Fall and it’s at this time of year when food pantries run low and supplies are most needed.
Kindly bring in any donations to the next meeting at Trinity on next Friday, May 5.

Parents Night Reminder
This Friday night is Parents Night, we will be talking about summer camp & recognizing the scouts achievements so far.
Scouts arrive at 7p.
Parents arrive at 8p.
We hope to see you there.
Brendan’s Eagle Court of Honor
This will be May 6th starting at 6P.
The troop picks up the cost for any registered youth who wish to attend. You do need to let Maureen (Brendan’s mom) know at [email protected] NO LATER than April 21st. Any scout who wishes to attend and notifies us that date will have to cover the cost of their plate.

Camping Trip Reminders
All people attending should bring the following:
Mess kit (if you don’t have one, we have them for sale for $25)
Raincoat, as Saturday’s weather looks wet.
Optional:
internet connected device (i.e. iPad, laptop, etc) as you may have the opportunity to work on merit badges
Your Help is Needed
We only have 1 driver each way who has confirmed they can help on this coming weekend camping trip. Thanks Ruth & Werner.
We still need 3 drivers up and 3 drivers back. Its only an hour trip (give or take)
If we do NOT get enough of drivers, getting your son to and from camp will fall back on the parents & the trip is non-refundable as food has already been purchased.
We don’t ask for much from our parents as usually we have enough of drivers with the adults that are going, unfortunately for this trip, that is not the case.

Next Camping Trip
The next trip is March 17-19. We will be going to Glen Grey in New Jersey.
We will be sleeping in a cabin, but some scouts will be sleeping in tents (depending on if they have the requirement yet or not).
The cost of the trip is $20. Payment and signup at Friday’s meeting.
