Due to an overwhelming response to the Toy Drive, I need to add a day to my Eagle Scout Project. A ton of viable, plastic toy donations came in at the last minute (and keep coming!). I’d greatly appreciate if anyone who is not going on the Washington trip can come to trinity on Friday night at 7 pm. I think we will be there until 10 pm. Parents, Committee members, friends and family are also welcome, there is that much stuff. Please come and help as it will benefit a lot of children in need.
Thanks in advance for your support,
Phillip

Florida Sea Base Trip FULL
I am happy to announce that all 18 slots have been filled.
We will setup a waiting list for anyone who may not be able to attend the trip at some point.
Recap from meeting to be posted soon.
Florida Sea Base Update
17 boys signed up between Friday & yesterday. We currently only have 1 slot left for youth.
We are taking a deposit for said slot (youth only, not open to adults yet), on a first come first serve basis. So please know that it is likely that registration for this trip will be closed shortly.
After which point we will have a wait-list, in case anyone going has an issue and can’t attend.
Any questions direct to Mike.
Florida Sea Base Update
Everyone who sign up tonight is guaranteed a spot!
More info to come soon.
Need Help ASAP
****POSITION FILLED*******
Through a work contact I have found out that there are 8-10 large trays of food that need to be donated somewhere, as the restaurant they are coming from has to close for a week due to a gas leak. Rein will be able to put the food to good use for the people at the soup kitchen he runs. But he will not be able to pick the food up, & the restaurant needs it picked up by mid-day the latest tomorrow.
I am told it should fit in the back of any car. It is 8-10 trays, and will need to be picked up on the Upper West Side and dropped off at the church (trinity).
Who can help us find this food a home in the bellies of the needy?
Email Mike if you can do this.
Reminder
This Friday night, April 8th, is the last day to pay for the Washington D.C trip.
The cost is 85 dollars.
Florida Sea Base Important Sign-up Info
Due to the overwhelming response, we wanted to share some information as to how we will handle sign-up.
We have 18 slots in total for youth. If more than 18 scouts sign up with a $100 non-refundable deposit (made out to: Troop 106), we will pick who goes based off of age and rank. The reason for this is some of the older scouts may not have another chance to go on this trip, before they turn 18 and become an adult. Those people who may get cut, will get first shot at other high adventure trips (more info to come soon)
In the case that less than 18 scouts sign up Friday night, everyone that signs up is guaranteed a spot. We will then offer those open spots to scouts until the end of the month, at which point we will open it up to the adult waiting list.
Scouts must be 14 at the time of the trip (Feb 2017) in order to go, Scouts that will be 13 1/2 at the time of the trip will need the approval of the Scoutmaster. Additionally scouts are required to have Swimming merit badge to attend, as this is VERY aquatic.
Any adults that want to go, can put their name on a waiting list. This will be done on a first come first serve basis.
Any questions direct to Mike
Parents Night this Friday
We will be having a Parents Night this coming Friday night.
We will be discussing: Summer Camp & Florida Sea Base
Sign up for Seabase will open right after the presentation. Bring a $100 check made out to “Troop 106” if your son wants to attend. At this time adults will be put on a waiting list.
Make sure you are there, as there will be a lot of info given out & questions answered.
Starts at 8P prompt. Meeting with scouts still starts at 7p.
