We will be doing a bunch of outdoor winter activities and sleep a combination of nights inside and outside.
The cost of this trip will be approx. $1750-$2000/person.

Any adults interested in going please contact Mike to be put on the waiting list. This will be on a first come first serve basis, & we will fill the slots on Feb 10, following the order of the list, assuming said adult is there with a deposit check. If the adult is not in attendance & has not sent a check in advance, they will be passed up and we will go to the next adult, until we have enough to fill our crews.

The scouts loved so much the Friday the 13th screening we had last year when we were camping, that we brought it back again for this year.
Friday night at Blue Mountain we will show Friday the 13th Part 2. Thank you to the Sammon’s for letting us use their screen & projector.
The movie is rated R, so if there are any parents who don’t want their son to see the movie, please let us know, and we will have actives for them in another room in the lodge house.
We will watch a movie every night, the other ones will be rated below R.
We need 2 driver for the trip up & 2 drivers for the trip back from Blue Mountain. It is only 45 min north in Peekskill. If you can help contact [email protected]

Holiday Party
This coming Friday Dec 23 will be the Troop Holiday Party. It is open to everyone: family, siblings etc.
There will be a youth and adult secret santa. If you son wants to participate in the youth secret santa, they should bring a wrapped gift valued between $10-$20. If an adult wants to participate in the adult secret santa, they should bring a wrapped gift in the $15-$25 range.
We also ask that each family brings a dish from their culture, so we can all break bread together. We recognize that we have a melting pot of culture here at Troop 106, and we love to embrace it.
There will also be some fun and games planned. Doors open at 7p. NO UNIFORM for scouts.
Blue Mountain
This is our tentatively planned trip for Jan 13-16. We will not know if we are getting the reservation until Jan 3 or 4th. Once we have confirmed we have gotten the reservation we will send out a post on the website.
The trip will be $40/person. Sign-up & Payment will be required at the Jan 6th meeting. The place has 30 bunks, they will be reserved for the first 30 youth to sign-up, Adults and anyone who comes after the 30th sign-up will have to bring a cot or sleeping pad (NO QUEEN SIZED AIR MATTRESSES)
This tends to be the favorite trip of the year as the place we are staying is very comfortable and setup for a great time. Parents who tends not to be huge fans of the woods love this trip.
Any questions on either of these topics direct to Mike
