Holiday Party Important Info
This coming Friday is our annual Holiday Party, and there is a bunch of info we need to get to you:
- This is open to all families including siblings.
- We ask that each family brings a dish from their culture, along with a drink (soda, juice, water). We will break bread as a family after some fun and games.
- There will be 2 Secret Santa’s this year (One for the youth and one for the adults). Youth (including siblings) bring a wrapped gift of no more than $15 in value. Adults bring a wrapped gift of no more than $20 in value. Participation is voluntary
- The scouts will be receiving a gift from the troop this year, so if you are bringing a sibling and don’t want them to be left out, bring them a gift as well.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
For Friday’s Meeting
Can every scout please bring a Christmas card and a stamp. We will be sending cards to a girl in need, her story is in the link below.

Troop 106 Agenda for 12/12/2015
• Wrapping Party
• Renovation Contingency Plan
• Christmas Pie Orders — Due 12/18
• Recap Art Night
• Recap Wreath Fundraiser
• Class B Polos – Last Call
If you are currently a chairperson but are unable to attend, please reach out to our Chairman, Pat at [email protected] or Dawn at [email protected] before Friday.
One Last Selling Shift
Due to the fact that we still have some wreaths left, we will have one more selling shift.
If you did not complete a selling shift last weekend, we expect you to be there this Saturday @ Met Food from 12-4 (or until we are sold out). Also, if we could get some other scouts to volunteer to help that would be great as well.
Any questions direct to Mike.
4 foster kids left to sponsor
As you may know Mike co-chairs the charitable arm of the company he works for (Citi Habitats). They are doing a drive in conjunction with JCCA (Jewish Child Card Association) to help the population they serve.
So far his social network & Troop 106 family has sponsored 36 kids. We have 4 left to get to our goal of 40 this holiday season.
The way it works is simple, we ask that you pick at least one of the gifts they request and spend a minimum of $50. We must receive the gifts no later than Dec 21.
If you want to sponsor a kid or two, please reach out to Mike
Thank you in advance
