Proud Scoutmaster

The troop won or placed in various events at the Camp-o-ree & 1 of our patrols came in Second Place Overall. Congrats to Sal’s Patrol who named themselves The Best Patrol Here.

Also, 10 Youth & 2 adults were tapped out to be inducted into the Order of the Arrow. Likely more than any other troop in NYC this year.

I am really happy to see how the troop is growing & moving from good to great.

Camping Trip Update

We did find enough drivers, so the trip is on.

Here are a few things to remember:

– Patrols needs to bring stuff to do kp

– Also, water jugs as there is no running water at the site.

– No Uniforms

– Bring a set of work clothes as we will be doing service to camp

– The weather looks like it will be wet, so pack ample wet gear and extra dry gear

Any questions direct to Mike

Possible Trip Cancellation

We have not gotten anyone to volunteer to drive. We need at least 4 drivers (not 2 as Dawn previously stated). If we don’t get volunteers by 5p tomorrow I am cancelling the trip.

In order for this program to work we need everyone to pitch in.

ALSO, ALL transportation need to go through Eric. Please do not make your own transportation plans without FIRST speaking to Eric, If you are planning on driving and taking x, y & z scouts, you NEED to let Eric know. NO one is exempt from this, not even myself.
